ColorNote delineates a paragraph end with a line feed character (ASCII 10). I just opened a ColorNote HTML file with a binary/hex editor and was finally able to see the problem. I have/use LibreOffice and it's a great alternative to Word, but it's still more program than should be necessary for this simple file import and conversion. LibreOffice Writer handles the files the same way that Notepad does.
